About the Author
Don Elkins was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1930. He held four university degrees, and was a professor of physics and engineering at the University of Louisville and head of the University of AlaskaÂ’s mechanical engineering department. He served with distinction as the youngest Master-Sergeant in the history of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. In 1965 he left his position as a tenured professor in order to give himself more time for the UFO and paranormal research that he had pursued all of his adult life, and became a Boeing 727 captain for a major airline until his death in 1984.

I read all of the 5 Ra books and they are the most influential books I have ever read, packed with mind-bogging information and answering so may questions I've ever had. They were really mind-opening and expanding, and made me pause and think a lot of things in this life and beyond. I feel I've become a better person because of these books, and I am forever grateful for finding these books. They are very difficult to read, due to Ra's antiquated language in channeling (I loved when they said "betwixt") and the intensity of the information, so I had to read them 3 times. Although they are very intense to read, once I started to get a hang of it, I could not stop. Each additional time I read, more meaning comes out that I had not caught before, so I can literally keep reading these books forever. Each volume covers different subjects, so if someone were to pick up and read only one volume, they will have a different perception of what these books contain. Unlike many other channels that sound superior and condescending, Ra (the social memory complex) is very humble, respectful of us, and try not to indulge us with superficial information for the fun of it or future information that we are in the process of making, in trying not to interfere with our free will. Yet, Ra was able to answer so many sharply intelligent questions with very specific and substantial answers.
I dig it -- captivates my interest & excitement on a level on par with the 1st book. (I enjoyed the 2nd book slightly less so, as I mentioned in my review for Book 2).Besides the usual perspective-enhancing existential/metaphysical concepts, you'll find the physics & functions of the energies generated by the Great Pyramid, the reason why certain people exhibit “metal-bending†ability, how 4th+ density entities perform interstellar travel, metaphysics of trance-channeling, etc.But in addition to that, a major ‘side-theme’ that runs through this book is the persistent “psychic attack†that Carla endures from the opposing forces of the Orion group, and which has a draining effect upon her physical health.The inclusion of this theme isn't simply a disheartening novelty though; it turns out to be a lucrative topic for generating discussion of important ideas, such as the mechanisms of Free Will.Notably though, is the fact that the way the group skillfully handles this challenge is representative of, and can be applied to, unpleasant occurrences at ALL levels of our lives - (i.e. not just difficult people, but also internal phenomena such as ‘disruptive’ emotions).In short, we inquire: in what way is this apparently-obstructive experience being of service to me? - what "service" is it providing?In the case of Don’s research team, the disruptive actions of the negatively-polarized Orion entity “offer†them the opportunity to stand firm in their convictions & the qualities that represent the Persons they’d like to be.~-Paul C.
Really mind blowing book. Will alter your perception of reality. Very well written, lots of deep information that takes a while to digest and assimilate. Not an afternoons easy read, more like a PHD course in reality. I am working my way through the series and am finding it all fascinating!

I am revisiting these books from years past and am finding them increasingly relevant as I've gained experience through life. What a beautiful contribution to the troublings and confusion of mankind. Such a courageous journey embarked upon by Carla, Don and Jim. Such courage and dedication inspire me in my own quest within third density.
If you are as I am, a seeker of the love and the light of The One Infinite Creator, if you are Israel (a seeker of God) desiring inner guidance and a clearer understanding of both the purpose of incarnation and a clearer awareness of your self in relation to other-selfs then this series is for you. The awakening of spirit within each individual, the spirit of service creator in all it's multitudinal faces, has never been a more pressing more important goal to be attained than it is at this point in our cycle of evolution of consciousness. Truth, pure and white, resonates with the true seeker; there is great truth and understanding in the pages of this book as well as the others of it's series. My deepest gratitude to all those who labored and suffered to give this knowledge to the modern world. Remember: Meditation is the door; Silence is the key. I wish you well on your path.
There are 5 books in this series. I'm just about finished iwth this 3rd book. There is also another book available from Carla's website "Living the Law of One–101: The Choice". I find these books compelling and will read all 5 plus the addotional book. I recommend all.
