The coloring books from Newbourne are the best! I love the format: pictures are only on one side of the paper so bleed-through isn't a problem and the book itself is more like a notebook where the pages tear off easily...although you can opt to keep them in book format if you wish. There's a cardboard flap attached to the back that you can easily put under the page you're coloring to protect the page underneath. Since the pages are attached at the top, not the side, these would work fine for either a right or left-handed person. As for the pictures themselves, there's a nice assortment of different kinds, including a few mandalas. I'm looking forward to new books in the series!As for the colored pencils, I can't speak as to the quality of them - I have Prismacolor pencils for my own use, so will be passing these along to someone else, but a book like this would make a nice gift for someone just getting into coloring.
â€¼ï¸ Loved it but I think the paper could have been a better quality. For just coloring and carrying in my pocketbook it's OK for that. I usually like to take the pictures and frame them after I finish them and give them as gifts . Could also be taken along for kids at Dr. app. or car and plane trips. I like the colored- pencils and even has a good sharpener too.
Great with coloring, not too light and not too dark like some pencils. Very nice assortment and wide range of colors to choose from. You will want these for the amazing quality and coloring feel they give off.
Pretty pictures not too complicated for us less than patient people. Once in awhile you gotta sit down and do something frivolous that empties your mind for a bit. This an inexpensive book compared to most, believe me I searched Amazon. The colored pencils are okay but I also used double ended marks.
This is nice because you can pull the pages out if you don’t want the whole thing with you. The pictures are good, some aren’t the bast, overall it was good
